Dr. Blalock grew up on a beef cattle farm in Crossville, TN. The time he spent working on the farm taught Dr. Blalock valuable problem-solving skills and a good work ethic. After Dr. Blalock suffered a dental injury when a cow’s hoof contacted his teeth, his dentist repaired his smile and sparked a fascination for the art of dentistry. Because of that experience, Dr. Blalock realized his calling was to become a dentist. He loves that dental work gives him the ability to work creatively with his hands while interacting with patients and making a positive impact on their lives.
Dr. Blalock graduated Summa Cum Laude from Tennessee Tech University with an undergraduate degree in health science biology. He went on to graduate with honors from the University of Kentucky College of Dentistry

Invisalign treatment uses a series of clear, removable aligners to gradually shift your teeth into their desired position. The aligners are custom-made using 3D imaging technology that creates a virtual model of your teeth. Each aligner is worn for approximately one week to gently shift your teeth until they align with the next aligner in the series. The treatment duration varies depending on the severity of your case, with cases ranging from 3 to 18 months, depending on your goals and what is possible for your smile.
Invisalign is suitable for most people who want to straighten their teeth. However, it is best for those with mild to moderate orthodontic issues, such as crooked or crowded teeth, gaps, and bite problems. Invisalign is not recommended for treating severe orthodontic cases or complex bite problems that require more extensive treatment like braces.
Proper care of your Invisalign aligners is essential to ensure the success of your treatment. You should brush and floss your teeth and rinse your aligners with lukewarm water after every meal or snack to prevent the buildup of bacteria and plaque. Avoid drinking anything other than water while wearing your aligners to prevent staining. Never use hot water, toothpaste, or mouthwash to clean your aligners as it can damage them.
